Puerto Progreso
Puerto Progreso : one of the closest ports to the City of Merida (only 30 minutes by car) a common stop for many cruise ships traveling from all over the continent.
The beaches of Progreso are characterized by their white and light brown sands with small shells. They develop tourist activities, boat rides, and commercial and sport fishing. In this area is the International Tourist Boardwalk with several restaurant options and other attractions such as the meteorite museum.
Chicxulub Puerto: Km 8 to 13
Chicxulub is famous for being the epicenter of the crater that took its name, caused by the impact of a meteorite that collided with the Earth approximately 65 million years ago. Chicxulub has long been a favorite port for tourists (both local and foreign), the beach has modern condominium complexes and summer houses for Meridians and available for vacation rentals. Uaymitún: Km 14 to 19
Residential area with beautiful beaches on the emerald coast of Yucatan; its soft sand and its crystal clear sea make this port an excellent place for rest and relaxation. San Benito and San Bruno: km 20 to 40

Telchac Puerto: km 40
Blue skies and beautiful beaches in a quiet town with the most exclusive developments in the area. Telchac Puerto is located just 30 minutes from Progreso. This destination is considered an ideal destination to rest. During the summer vacation season this place comes alive and it is common to see people walking the streets to enjoy all the attractions it offers. Downtown Mérida
35 km from Puerto Progreso is the Center of the City of Mérida.
